AiM Taipan ECU Accessories

These accessories complete the AiM Taipan ECU setup. The ECU is only one part of the system; UC Bridge, HBS2, and the correct cables determine how maps, diagnostics, rider controls, and data logging work on the bike.

Core Taipan Accessories

  • AiM UC Bridge: required for Spark software connection, map transfer, setup changes, and diagnostics on supported Taipan ECUs.
  • AiM HBS2 Handlebar Switch: adds supported rider controls such as map selection, fuel correction, launch control, traction control, and quick shift management on equipped bikes.
  • AiM HBS2 / DataLog Taipan K Cable: AiM cable code V02596160, required when connecting HBS2 or compatible data logging hardware to AiM Taipan K ECU.
  • AiM DataLog Y Cable: AiM cable code V02589120, used for compatible Taipan ECU data logging integration.

Important Cable Notes

  • Taipan K HBS2/DataLog: use V02596160.
  • Taipan Y v2 HBS2: AiM lists V02596140 as the required HBS2 cable. Contact Bootleg Performance if you need that cable and do not see it listed.
  • DataLog Y Cable: V02589120 is for data logging integration and is not the same as the Taipan Y v2 HBS2 cable.
