AiM Taipan Y v2 ECU

The AiM Taipan Y v2 ECU is the Taipan ECU platform for newer Yamaha YZ-F motocross bikes. It is sold blank; AiM base maps are available for stock bikes, and the AiM UC Bridge is required for map loading, settings, diagnostics, and Spark software workflow.

• Yamaha: YZ450F (Cross, 2023-2025)

What You Need With It

• AiM UC Bridge for Spark software connection, map transfer, settings, and diagnostics.
• AiM HBS2 Handlebar Switch for supported rider-control functions.
• HBS2 cable note: AiM lists cable code V02596140 as the additional HBS2 cable required for Taipan Y v2. Contact Bootleg Performance if you need that cable and do not see it listed.
• Custom ECU Tuning if the bike needs a map beyond a stock base-map setup.

Setup Notes

Use this Taipan Y v2 ECU for the listed newer Yamaha year ranges. For earlier YZ-F models, use the AiM Taipan Y ECU instead.
